Welcome to “EX-EMPLOYEES’ WELFARE ASSOCIATION”herein after called “Association” is an altruistic social, humanitarian and welfare organisation of ex-employees of Durgapur Steel Plant & SAIL. It is not a business or a Political nor a religious institution & also take utmost care to remove the feeling of desolation and helplessness from the mind of its’ members.

The Association  exert all efforts to have due recognition from the society and all the Government or non government organisations and ensure that due respect is paid to the elders for their valuable contribution in the making of the Society and also for their vast experience.

The Association trying to establish the extension and implementation of all national & international schemes and policies to senior citizens and taking utmost parity among other similar P.S. units in the matter of Welfare, Medicare and retirement benefits etc. made available for the ex-employees and always functioning as a shield for the members against social injustice, neglect and discrimination in respect of health & hygiene.

Considering the needs of the aged people, the association trying best to arrange Health check-up camps, Health seminars and also trying best to install noncommercial “Old age Home”, Reading Room & Library.

For good maintenance of mental health of our member we arrange Seminars, Cultural function and short pleasure trips and Picnic.

The association always fight against all social injustices,superstitions and unscientific trust.
